Sena Prism 2 Records 4K Video With Mesh Intercom Audio

Sena is back in the action camera game with the Prism 2, a 4K unit built to capture Mesh Intercom chatter right alongside the footage. Riders can now sync group conversations with video, so what’s said on the road gets saved with what’s seen.

The camera shoots 4K at 30 fps using a 165 degree lens, wide enough to grab most of the action in front of it. Stills come in at 20 megapixels, and the body carries an IPX7 waterproof rating for rain, splashes, or a quick dunk.

Audio pulls in wirelessly from Sena’s Mesh network, meaning no cables or separate recorders needed to catch a full conversation between riders.

Price lands at $349, and it’s available now through Sena dealers or directly at Sena.com.

This marks Sena’s first real update to its camera lineup since the Prism Tube WiFi launched over seven years ago. That’s a long gap for a company known mostly for its communication headsets, but the Prism 2 folds both worlds together, video and voice, into one device.

My two cents…

Sena crawls back into cameras with the Prism 2, finally recording your buddy's terrible jokes alongside the actual ride. 4K, 165 degree lens, 20MP stills, IPX7 rated (so yes, rain proof, dunk proof, questionable decisions proof). Wireless Mesh audio, no cables. $349, available now. First real update since Prism Tube WiFi, seven years ago. Rip Van Winkle would be proud.
