The bag is made by Rhinowalk, based in China. They have been making bags for around 10 years.
In addition to motorcycle bags, they sell all sorts of accessories for motorcycles and peddle bikes.
I own the original Rhinowalk Expanding Tail Bag (review here) and that has been an excellent and served me very well over 1000’s of miles strapped to the back of my KTM 890 ADV and Himalayan 450.
The new “Mechanics Range” version of the expandable tail bag is a big step up in quality and functionality.
Purchase & Shipping
I purchased the tail bag from Temu (receipt below) due to some short-term specials running, but its also widely available on AliExpress. I paid £129 total or around US$175 shipped to my door.

If you are looking at buying this Rhinowalk Tail Bag or anything from AliExpress, make sure you shop around, pricing can jump around between sellers. The Rhinowalk seller below has lots of good reviews and pricing.

Features & Specifications
The features and specs of this bag are way too detailed to dive into here. I recommend you watch my review video below. It does a much better job of highlighting the feature set and specs of this tail bag.
A few basic highlights below:
The bag is primarily made from strong tear-resistant 1680D polyester. The main frame has reinforced steel wire running through it, which helps the bag keep its shape.
The inside bottom and sides of the bag have rigid PE sheets (Polyethylene) to make sure the sides stay in place and the bottom stays flat, it also adds a level of impact protection.
On the underside of the bag, they have used a thick anti-slip and wear-resistant material.
It’s smooth, so should be easy to clean if you set the bag down on some dirt.
The bag has an internal waterproof sleeve, ideal for stashiong wet gear and keeping it seperated from the dry gear.

Soak Test
The Rhinowalk Tail Bag did a great job of keeping out the water, even without the rain cover.
You will have plenty of time to stop and put the rain cover on, before your stuff inside starts to get wet.
Take a look at my review video below, to get a better idea of the rain-proof qualities of the bag.

FAQ
Does this bag have the ability to be locked?
Yes, a wire-style padlock is the best option.
Will the bag fit on a sports bike?
Ideally, this bag needs to be mounted onto a luggage rack.
Its footprint is quite large, so ideally needs plenty of support underneath.
That said, I’m sure a little creativity could resolve the problem.
I have seen one mounted lengthway on the back of a Suzuki GSXR.
Does the bag have a warranty?
Yes, 1 year according to the manufacturer.
If one of the buckle straps break, is there a way to buy a replacement?
You can buy direct replacements from Rhinowalk. That said, the round/buckle tie down clips or very strong and well made, so you would need to be pretty unlucky to break one. Plus the D-Ring underneath can also be used to tie down the bag if needed.
Verdict
The Rhinowalk expandable 50-70L motorcycle bag, offers excellent value, excellent construction, especially compared to the better known brands.
In a nutshell… It is built for hard core touring, bad weather, carrying plenty of gear and will last for years.
