Clarke’s CIR184LIP 18V impact wrench is turning heads in home workshops, and it’s easy to see why. Sold through Machine Mart for £173.99, it’s picked up a Best Buy award from Auto Express along with a stack of five star reviews from happy owners.
The half inch drive tool pumps out 400Nm of torque, enough to shift stubborn nuts and bolts, and runs on a brushless motor built to last. Its compact, cordless build makes it easy to handle in tight spots. Users get three forward and three reverse speeds, plus an impact rate reaching 3300ipm. A built in LED light helps when working in dim corners of the garage.
The kit includes two 18V lithium ion batteries, so there’s no downtime waiting around for a charge, just swap and keep going. The included 230V charger claims to take a battery from empty to full in just 1.5 hours.
For anyone spending hours loosening and tightening fastenings, this tool looks like a solid, affordable option that doesn’t skimp on power or convenience.
My two cents…
400Nm torque, brushless motor, three/three speeds, 3300ipm, LED light. Two batteries, 90 minute charger, zero excuses. Solid, cheap, no nonsense. Shocking, really.
