SW-Motech has announced the new V-Loc system for motorcycle panniers. The German brand says the system offers a faster and easier way to fit luggage using a mix of magnetic and mechanical mounts. It can be secured with one hand in seconds.
The design uses Fidlock magnets with a V-shaped plastic mount that guides the panniers into place. Once attached, the magnet holds the luggage firmly and can lock it to the bike frame. Riders can also add a key lock for extra security.
SW-Motech based the concept on its PRO Tank Ring but reinforced it to handle the greater weight and movement of side luggage. The V-Loc uses a larger and stronger magnet setup to carry heavier loads safely.
The system will fit a range of motorcycle models starting in spring 2026. It will be compatible with SW-Motech’s Legend Gear and WP side bag lines.
This update signals another step toward quicker, cleaner luggage setups for touring riders. SW-Motech’s reputation for solid build quality adds confidence that the V-Loc could become a standard fit for those who value both convenience and reliability.
