Oxford Solatex Bike Cover Now Available From £29.99

Oxford’s Solatex cover is now in stock, and it’s built to handle more than just dust. Light enough to pack away easily, it’s made from a tough bonded material with double stitched seams that can take a beating.

An elasticated hem keeps it fitted snug, while the belly strap and lock holes give riders a bit more confidence it won’t shift or get pulled off.

Police schemes have found that bike covers actually help cut down theft. Makes sense really, if a thief can’t tell what’s hiding underneath, they’re less likely to bother. Pair it with one of Oxford’s chain or disc locks with a built in alarm for extra protection.

The cover is UPF 50+ rated too, so it blocks UV rays and reflects heat, keeping the bike’s paint and seat from cooking in the sun. It works just as well parked outside as it does stored in a garage.

Priced from £29.99, the Oxford Solatex Cover is available now.

My two cents…

Oxford’s Solatex is here, and no, it’s not just dust protection cosplay. Tough bonded fabric, double stitched seams, elastic hem, belly strap, lock holes. Cops say covers cut theft (mystery bike, less appeal). UPF 50+ blocks sun too.
