Westwind Moto has introduced the Hussar pannier system, built for riders who value strength and utility. The design features rigid anti-collapse support using industrial-grade PP boards on all sides. This ensures the pannier maintains shape even when unloaded.
The material is Westwind’s custom thickened composite mesh fabric based on 840D polyester. It resists water, abrasion, and weather better than common TPU or PVC. The pannier carries an IPX6 waterproof rating, keeping gear dry in heavy rain.
Riders get flexible storage with RW3 expansion side bags, and the patented Harness Mounting System secures the pannier to the backplate. The system allows fast installation and removal while staying stable on rough terrain. A durable Hypalon rubber surface adds protection during drops. Hidden shoulder straps make carrying easy when off the bike.
The quick-release clips simplify setup, saving time before or after a ride. The panniers fit most tubular racks, including the BMW R1300GS. Versions are available for standard and exhaust-offset racks.
Rubber corner protectors and reinforced panels provide added impact resistance. The Hussar system delivers strong, weatherproof, and versatile luggage designed to perform through every mile.
My two cents…
When I was at EICMA 2025 I had a good look at Westwind’s products, very nice!
Take a look here for my thoughts etc on Westwind.
Bottom line, good gear at a good price. Plenty of companies snapping at Mosko’s heels these days.
