Shoei GT-Air to Feature Eyelights Hud System

Shoei Gt-Air Iii To Feature Eyelights Hud System In 2026

Shoei has announced that the GT-Air III helmet will support the upcoming Eyelights HUD system. The Australian release is scheduled for September 2026. The HUD-ready version will cost slightly more than the standard GT-Air III, while the Eyelights HUD will be sold separately. Pricing is expected to align closely with the helmet’s retail value based on European figures.

The system uses a Nano OLED heads-up display that projects maps, speed, and call notifications. It offers about 10 hours of battery life. The package includes a noise-reducing microphone and supports voice control for Android and Apple devices. Shoei states that the intercom works across all brands, offering unlimited range online and mesh connectivity offline.

The helmet itself meets ECE 22/06 standards and carries Shoei’s AIM shell and EPS liner system. It has a drop-down sun visor, Pinlock visor, and micro ratchet chin strap. Three shell sizes and multiple cheek pad thickness options ensure fit versatility.

Ventilation ports at the brow, chin, and rear improve airflow, while the integrated spoiler aids stability. The standard GT-Air III is available now and ready for SRL3 communication units. The Eyelights HUD variant arrives next year. Visit Premium Helmets Australia for details.

My two cents…

The only reason I covered this, is it’s pretty cool tech.

This gizmo beams maps, speed, and calls onto a Nano OLED screen, with ten hours of juice and voice control for Android and Apple. Bonus: an intercom that apparently talks to every other brand, finally, peace on earth.
