Sena MeshON Adds Mesh To Any Bluetooth Headset

Sena has launched MeshON, a small adapter that lets any compatible Bluetooth headset connect to a Sena Mesh Intercom network. The device targets riders who already own a Bluetooth only unit and do not want to buy a new headset.

MeshON pairs with a headset through Sena Universal Intercom, then links to Open Mesh or Group Mesh networks. Riders can join multi channel conversations even if their headset has no built in Mesh support. Sena says the adapter works with Sena and other brands. It supports Mesh Intercom 3.0 and stays compatible with version 2.0 products. Range reaches up to 800 meters.

The unit mounts to a helmet with a magnetic or adhesive base. It weighs 22.5 grams and delivers up to 12 hours of talk time. Features include Advanced Noise Control, IPX7 water resistance, USB C fast charging, and over the air updates through the Sena Motorcycles app.

Sena lists the price at 129 dollars. The company positions MeshON as a practical fix for mixed riding groups who want reliable Mesh communication without replacing existing gear.

My two cents…

Sena just tossed a lifeline to riders clutching their perfectly good Bluetooth headsets like it is a vintage Walkman. Meet MeshON, a tiny adapter that plugs your existing gear into a Sena Mesh Intercom network. Sensible? Yes. Sexy? Not quite The Matrix. But it works.
