Sena Launches Apex and Apex Plus Intercoms

Sena has launched two new intercoms, the Apex and Apex Plus, both built for riders who don’t want to stop for a recharge. Each comes with two swappable batteries and a dual charger, giving up to 40 hours of combined talk time. Running low mid ride? Swap the battery in seconds and keep going.

The Apex connects two riders, while the Apex Plus handles up to four. Both offer a range of 1.6 km, voice commands, AINR microphone noise reduction and a Quick Pair button for fast setup. There’s also a new slimmer design, and the batteries support Qi wireless charging alongside the included charger.

Vlada Bokza, Motorcycle Marketing Manager at Sena Europe, said the goal was to give regular users a simple way to stay connected without interruption. Swapping a battery takes seconds, she noted, so riders never have to pause conversations just to charge up.

Prices start at £199 including VAT for the Apex, with the Apex Plus sitting above it in the lineup. Both models are aimed at riders who spend long hours on the road and rely on their intercom throughout the day.

My two cents…

Sena drops the Apex and Apex Plus, because apparently your commute wasn't already annoying enough without battery anxiety too. Swappable batteries, 40 hours combined juice, Qi charging. Apex links two riders, Plus handles four. Sena's marketing lead basically says "never shut up, ever." Apex starts at £199. Talk nonstop, literally.
