Sena 60X Intercom Debuts With Joystick Control

SENA has launched the 60X, its first motorcycle intercom with a joystick and two customisable buttons. It sits at the top of the range and focuses on fast, simple control.

Riders often need to adjust volume, answer a call, or warn others in seconds. The 60X joystick is easy to find with gloves. The two buttons can be set for favourite functions. Riders choose what they use most.

The 60X runs Mesh 3.0 and Wave Intercom. Mesh covers up to 2 km in open terrain. Wave offers unlimited range through network support. Group Mesh handles up to 24 users, while Wave and Open Mesh support virtually unlimited riders. Bluetooth 5.3 allows pairing with a phone and supports up to four users.

Sound by Bose uses SoundDesign tuning and a WaveForm audio engine to keep speech clear at speed. AI noise reduction filters microphone input. The 1000 mAh battery delivers 19 hours of Mesh talk time or 29 hours on Bluetooth. A 20 minute charge gives up to four hours of Mesh use.

Qi wireless charging, IPX7 water resistance and a limited lifetime warranty complete the package. The 60X is priced at 359 pounds single pack, 669 pounds dual pack.

My two cents…

SENA has unveiled the 60X, a top shelf motorcycle intercom with a joystick and two custom buttons. Yes, a joystick. Somewhere an Atari kid just nodded. The idea is fast, glove friendly control when you need to tweak volume, grab a call, or yell heads up to the crew without fumbling like you are cracking a safe.
