Scottoiler eSystem REP Connect Review & Test

Scottoiler ESystem REP Connect Review And Test

Scottoiler keeps a steady flow of oil on a bike chain. The goal is simple. Reduce wear. Cut maintenance time. Extend chain life.

The new eSystem REP Connect plugs straight into a Hex ezCAN, Denali CANSmart, or LoneRider MotoCAN. Setup takes minutes through the software. Allocate a 1A fuse, prime the line, set the flow rate. Default is one drop every 90 seconds. It only starts after the first brake application. That prevents waste.

John fitted it to a 107000 mile Honda VFR800. Oil delivery stayed consistent. The chain showed light coverage with no fling on the wheel. A 125ml fill lasts up to 1500 miles. Oil costs as little as 0.14p per mile when bought in bulk.

Installation takes planning. Routing the feed pipe neatly is key. Instructions rely on images. Video support helps.

All Climate Green oil is vegetable based and 60 percent biodegradable within 28 days.

Chains need lubrication. Major brands including RK and DID confirm it. A lubed TT race bike chain measured 38C after a session.

Verdict. Strong control. Clean operation. Good value if an accessory manager is already fitted.

My two cents…

Scottoiler’s pitch is beautifully boring. Drip oil on chain. Reduce wear. Ride more, faff less. The new eSystem REP Connect plugs into a Hex ezCAN, Denali CANSmart, or LoneRider MotoCAN like it actually belongs there. Click around the software, assign a 1A fuse, prime it, set the drip rate. One drop every 90 seconds. It only wakes up after the first brake tap. Smart. No oily Jackson Pollock on your rear wheel. John bolted it to his 107000 mile Honda VFR800 because of course he did. Oil flow stayed steady, chain nicely glazed, zero fling. A 125ml fill stretches to 1500 miles. Around 0.14p per mile in bulk. That is loose change territory. Install takes patience. Routing the pipe neatly is half the job, IKEA vibes included. The manual leans hard on pictures, but video backup saves the day. All Climate Green oil is vegetable based and 60 percent biodegradable in 28 days. Mother Nature approves. Chains need lube. RK and DID say so. A lubed TT race bike chain clocked 38C after a session. Verdict. Precise. Clean. Worth it if you already run an accessory manager. Otherwise, maybe ask yourself how much you hate cleaning chains.
