UK bike security brand Hiplok has launched two new anti angle grinder locks aimed at riders who want stronger protection. The new products are the DXL1000 and the L1000 link.
The DXL1000 is a longer version of the firm’s D locks. It gives riders more room to secure a bike to ground anchors or fixed objects. Hiplok says it has the longest internal locking length on the market at 270mm, with a 350mm external length. It weighs 3.15kg and carries a Sold Secure Diamond rating. That matches the D1000 and DX1000. Price starts at £329.99.
The L1000 is a linking device that connects two D locks. Riders can secure two bikes together or extend reach around larger anchor points. It also holds a Sold Secure Diamond rating and weighs 1.2kg. It fits inside the DX1000 range for transport. Price is £149.99.
Hiplok says the products respond to rider demand for more flexibility and stronger protection against lift and roll theft.
Both items are available to pre order now. A lifetime warranty applies if owners register within 30 days.

Practical. Almost polite. Hiplok says this answers demand for flexibility and tougher defence against lift and roll theft. Pre order is live, lifetime warranty if you register in 30 days. Because nothing says romance like paperwork.
