HEL Performance has acquired Harrison Billet, forming a powerful new force in British motorcycle braking. The deal brings together two respected UK manufacturers. HEL, based in Exeter, is known for its stainless-steel braided lines, master cylinders, and billet calipers. Harrison Billet, founded in the 1980s, earned global recognition for precision-machined calipers and discs used on over 140 models, including many Harley-Davidsons.
The acquisition adds Harrison’s proven designs and machining expertise to HEL’s growing operation. Production will move to HEL’s headquarters in Devon. Existing Harrison Billet parts will stay in production under the same name. New products are already being planned.
HEL’s managing director Simon Lane said the move reflects both strategy and respect for Harrison’s legacy. Lane credited founder Ken Harrison for supporting his early career.
The combined product line now covers a wide range of performance braking solutions for European, Japanese, and American motorcycles. By joining forces, HEL and Harrison Billet strengthen the British performance aftermarket with local engineering and full in-house manufacturing. The focus stays on reliable performance, CNC precision, and consistent supply for riders and builders who demand quality.
My two cents…
HEL Performance just scooped up Harrison Billet, creating a British braking supergroup that could probably stop a freight train. Local metal, done right. Respect.
