HammerLEDs began in Latvia when two riders kept snapping their motorcycle turn signals. They decided to create a set that wouldn’t break. In 2021, they launched HammerLEDs, turn signals that are drop-proof, waterproof, and bendable in any direction.
Their first product targeted the Yamaha Ténéré 700. Now, they make plug-and-play kits for many models, including the Honda CRF300L Rally. Each kit uses standard flexible stalks, and the connectors vary by bike.
The Flex 4 kit for the CRF300L Rally costs $259 and includes all parts for four signals. The rear lights are simple to replace. The front takes longer, since the wiring tray under the headlight must be removed. The system includes resistors and a bike-specific relay to ensure proper flash rate.
In testing, the Flex 4 lights proved brighter than the OEM parts. They work as daytime running lights and save 5.6 ounces in total weight. Each unit resisted drops without damage.
Installation requires patience, but the payoff is lasting durability. Riders gain brighter turn signals, better visibility, and fewer replacements after falls. HammerLEDs has built a sturdy, practical solution for anyone who rides rough terrain.
My two cents…
They look pretty durable!
HammerLEDs was basically built out of frustration and duct-tape-level determination. In 2021, they dropped signals that don’t break, drown, or quit, finally!
The CRF kit runs US$259, four signals, plug-and-play-ish. Rears pop in easy, fronts require minor surgery. Test riders found them brighter, lighter, and tougher. So yeah, less fixing broken lights, more pretending you’re riding the Dakar.
