Garmin has stepped up its satellite communication game with the inReach Messenger Plus.
At $500, it’s a pricier upgrade, but for off-grid riders, the new features might justify the cost. With the ability to send photos, voice messages, and longer texts, adventurers can stay better connected.
The device works through the Garmin Messenger app, letting users send check-ins, track their location, and even avoid pricey cruise Wi-Fi fees.
Subscription plans are flexible, starting at $8 a month.
My two cents…
Lots of love for the inReach the past few days. It is a great product and I own one, enough said.
Take a look at the excellent reviews on Amazon (USA) and Amazon (UK).
