DJI has launched the Osmo Pocket 4P, a dual lens pocket gimbal camera aimed at serious vloggers and riders who want pro level footage in a small package.
The new model features a one inch CMOS sensor with up to 17 stops of dynamic range. It records 4K video at 240 frames per second for ultra slow motion and supports a new 10 bit D Log 2 profile. That allows creators to capture over one billion colours and push grading further in post production.
A second 60mm lens with f1.8 aperture delivers natural looking portraits with strong background blur. Riders filming on the move can use up to 3 times optical zoom and 12 times total zoom while keeping subjects sharp.
The 3 axis mechanical gimbal keeps footage steady. ActiveTrack 8.0 locks onto people, bikes or moving objects and keeps them centred.
The camera weighs 230g and offers up to 210 minutes of runtime. Charging to 80 percent takes 18 minutes.
My two cents…
DJI is back with the Osmo Pocket 4P, a dual lens pocket gimbal camera for vloggers and throttle happy riders who want cinema vibes without lugging a brick around. Small body. Big promises. We have heard that one before 🙂
