Bosch is turning heads with its bold move into metal 3D printing, yes, real motorcycle parts made by lasers fusing powdered metal.
Known for its tech in everything from ABS to MotoGP bikes, Bosch is betting that additive manufacturing could seriously change how motorcycles get built.
This isn’t just about faster prototyping, it’s about lighter, stronger, and more complex components made in days, not months.
Imagine frames with flex zones or smarter, cooler brakes. It’s not science fiction, it’s happening now!
My two cents…
I’m into 3D printing and have printed a few items for my bikes.
Initially it was a rapid prototyping tool, but as the technology has progressed, it has become a production tool as well. Especially parts that are difficult to machine due to their complexity.
