Artago Urban UR6 Alarm Lock Proves Loud But Weak

The Artago Urban UR6 arrives on the workbench, and John Milbank runs it through the usual BikeSocial tests.

Compact at 425g, it’s easy to stash on a bike, and its 120dB alarm proves impressively tuned and weather resistant. The lock comes with three keys, a code for duplicates, and a pouch.

However, the testing shows the Urban UR6 struggles against even the simplest attacks, three hammer blows are all it takes to break it free.

The alarm remains its main strength: loud, reliable, and a good reminder not to ride off still locked. Useful, yes, but more deterrent than defender.
