Brembo has rolled out its first brake caliper made entirely from recycled aluminium, marking a major milestone in its five-year sustainability project launched in 2020.
The Italian braking giant says the new design cuts lifecycle emissions by 70 per cent compared to conventional systems. Already supplied to a key partner across all markets, the caliper carries a distinct ALU logo to highlight its upcycled origin.
Well known in MotoGP and WorldSBK, Brembo plans to phase in more recycled components as conventional units reach the end of their production life, reinforcing its push toward smarter, greener performance technologies.
My two cents…
Not much to say to be honest. Brembo makes the best brakes 🙂
