Schuberth just upped its game again. The German helmet maker now offers the SC Edge, a sleek, plug-and-play comms unit based on Cardo’s Packtalk Edge.
Pre-wired helmets like the C5 and S3 mean installation takes under five minutes, no tools, no hassle.
You get mesh intercom with a one-mile range, crisp audio, over-the-air firmware updates via your phone, and voice command support.
It pairs seamlessly with other Cardo and Schuberth units, making group rides a breeze.
At $349, it’s a premium package for connected riders who want style, simplicity, and serious function, without gutting their helmet to get it.
My two cents…
Looks pretty slick. As for the one mile range quote, not unless you are on flat ground and in sight of each other. Add a tree or a building, and that drops significantly.
