Ari Henning’s Honda CRF300L is a puzzle, does a bike remain the same when nearly every part has been upgraded?
Dubbed the Theseus Paradox of motorcycles, his CRF features a 301 cc big bore kit, full exhaust, high-spec K-Tech suspension, and countless ergonomic and performance tweaks.
The result? A nimble, enhanced machine that still holds true to its CRF roots. It’s smoother on trails and stronger on highways, but still a CRF at heart.
So, is it the same bike? That depends, are you riding it for what it is or for what it could be?
My two cents…
You can dump a lot of cash into a CRF, chasing a unicorn bike.
Personally, I would put that money towards a better stock bike.
