Radar technology is currently dominating the motorcycle industry, becoming a “miracle” must-have in bike features.
However, many argue that such tech like adaptive cruise control and blind-spot detection are overpriced, often bundled together, and available only on expensive flagship models.
Innovv and Kiwan Motors are two companies offering aftermarket solutions that enable existing motorcycles to be upgraded with radar features.
Garmin’s Zūmo R1 is also an option, with visual and audio alert systems.
Despite the high costs of these systems, they bring improved safety measures to motorbike riding.
My two cents…
As I have said before, I’m all for anything that adds more safety to the riding experience.
The other upside, is this tech will only come down in price.
