R&G Expands Aluminium Adventure Bar Range
R&G Expands Aluminium Adventure Bar Range

R&G has added 20 new fitments to its Aluminium Adventure Bar range, covering eight major manufacturers, after launching the lineup earlier this year.

The bars are built to guard the front of adventure bikes against damage in a tip over or low speed spill, protecting the fairing, radiator and engine casings from scrapes and knocks. Made from aluminium, they’re designed to be light yet tough enough for regular off road use.

Riders can now find options for a wider spread of models across the adventure category, giving more owners a way to protect their bikes without piling on extra weight.

R&G says the expansion reflects demand from riders who wanted coverage for machines not included in the original release. Each bar is designed to bolt straight onto the bike using existing mounting points, keeping fitting simple.

The range is available now through R&G’s usual dealer network, with full fitment details listed on the company’s website for each supported model.

R&G Launches HEX ezCAN For BMW F 450 GS
R&G Launches HEX ezCAN For BMW F 450 GS

Riders with a BMW F 450 GS now have a new way to customise their bike, thanks to the HEX ezCAN accessory manager from R&G. The plug and play device connects straight into the bike, letting owners add and control things like auxiliary lighting, horns, heated grips and brake lights without a complicated setup. Everything needed for home installation comes included in the kit.

Those who buy a HEX ezCAN through R&G also get R&G Direct Elite Cover, which adds a 5 year extended warranty from the date of registration. To keep that warranty valid, owners need to register through the HEX ezCAN configuration software and leave the device and wiring untouched.

The HEX ezCAN for the BMW F 450 GS is available now from R&G, priced at £209.99 including VAT.

Jack Taylor, General Manager at R&G, said the timing suits the season. “With darker evenings and colder weather just around the corner, many riders will be thinking about adding extras such as auxiliary lighting or heated grips to improve visibility and comfort over the winter, and this new HEX ezCAN makes installing them to the BMW F 450 GS incredibly quick and simple.”

Cycle Cynch II Tie Down System Reviewed
Cycle Cynch II Tie Down System Reviewed

A writer at Ultimate Motorcycling spends a good chunk of time hauling motorcycles around, whether swapping test bikes, carrying dirt bikes, or trucking rides out to remote testing spots instead of riding them the whole way. That means tie downs matter a lot, and the Cycle Cynch II is now in the mix.

The system bundles everything needed to strap a bike down into one setup, cutting out the hassle of managing loose straps, hooks, and separate soft ties. It’s built for people who load bikes often and want something quick and reliable rather than digging through a bag of mismatched gear each time.

Early impressions point to solid tension control and a setup that stays secure over rough roads. For anyone moving bikes regularly, whether for testing, racing, or just weekend rides, having one clean tie down solution can save real time at the ramp.

Chigee Launches Voice Controlled Motorcycle Dashcam
Chigee Launches Voice Controlled Motorcycle Dashcam

CHIGEE has rolled out a new voice controlled dashcam built specifically for motorcycles, aiming to give riders a safer way to record their rides without fumbling for buttons.

The company has built a name for itself in motorcycle tech, and this latest device leans into that focus. Riders can start recording, take snapshots, or switch modes just by speaking, keeping their hands on the bars where they belong.

The setup is meant to handle wind noise and highway speeds, common problems for voice tech mounted on a moving vehicle. CHIGEE designed the hardware to sit easily on different bike types, so it works whether someone is commuting through traffic or riding long distance on a highway.

Safety is the main selling point here. Motorcyclists dealing with a phone mount or a dashcam interface mid ride face real risk, and CHIGEE is betting that voice control cuts down on that distraction.

The dashcam fits into a growing market of gear made specifically for two wheeled vehicles rather than adapted from car tech. CHIGEE says the goal is simple, give riders a tool that keeps their attention on the road while still capturing footage they might need later, whether for memories or evidence after an incident.

Lone Rider Launches MotoCAN With Bluetooth Cornering Lights
Lone Rider Launches MotoCAN With Bluetooth Cornering Lights

Lone Rider just rolled out the MotoCAN v2, a Bluetooth controller aimed at riders who want simpler control over their auxiliary lights. Instead of hooking a laptop up to configure settings, owners can now handle everything through a dedicated mobile app.

The bigger update here is the cornering light feature. The system reads the bike’s lean angle and speed, then adjusts light output on the fly to help riders see further into turns at night or in low visibility. It’s the kind of feature that used to require expensive aftermarket setups or manual tuning, now built straight into the controller itself.

Lone Rider is positioning the v2 as a step up for riders who’ve grown tired of fiddling with wires and software just to get their lighting setup right. Pairing through Bluetooth means adjustments happen in seconds from a phone, no extra tools required.

For riders who spend a lot of time on unlit roads or backcountry routes, the dynamic lighting could make a real difference in how much warning they get before a curve sneaks up on them.

Cheap Motorcycle CarPlay Units Now Pack Plenty
Cheap Motorcycle CarPlay Units Now Pack Plenty

Motorcycle CarPlay setups used to be rare and pricey. Not anymore. A quick scroll through Amazon now turns up dozens of cheap units offering wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS, cameras and TPMS all bundled together.

The reviewer, who logs plenty of long distance rides on and off road, normally leans on their phone and Bluetooth helmet intercom for navigation and calls. The only real gap was losing GPS search when cell service dropped out. So going into testing the CPMC X6 Motorcycle CarPlay System, expectations were modest.

Turns out the X6 does more than expected. It ships with a 2K dash cam and stands out from the sea of similar gadgets by cramming a lot of function into one unit. There’s a 6.25 inch touchscreen running wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, front and rear 2K cameras, TPMS, GPS logging, and a build meant to handle life strapped to a bike, weatherproofing included.

Sena Spider X Slim Launches Mesh Intercom
Sena Spider X Slim Launches Mesh Intercom

Sena just dropped the Spider X Slim, a mesh only motorcycle intercom that ditches the bulky battery from the main unit to keep things small on the helmet. Single units go for $299, or grab a two rider pack for $569.

The clamp on module itself is tiny, just 0.8 ounces and 2.9 x 1.2 x 0.6 inches. Power lives separately now, in a battery pack riders can mount inside or outside the helmet depending on their setup.

For rider communication, it runs on Sena’s Mesh Intercom 3.0 and still talks to older Mesh 2.0 units too. Sena says riders can expect up to a mile of range out in open terrain. Open Mesh gives access to six channels with unlimited riders joining in, while Group Mesh locks things down to a closed network capping out at 24 people.

Then there’s Wave Intercom, Sena’s app based option that uses phone data instead of mesh signal. That one skips the distance limit entirely, letting riders stay connected no matter how far apart they end up.

Small Cube Helps Techs Sort Fasteners During Repairs
Small Cube Helps Techs Sort Fasteners During Repairs

A new tool is making its way into repair shops, and it’s a small cube with a big job. Techs use it to map out fasteners during teardown, keeping bolts and screws sorted so nothing gets lost or mismatched during reassembly.

The cube works across different setups, whether it’s sitting on a shop bench, riding along on a mobile service call, or mounted to a wall for quick access. That flexibility matters for people juggling multiple jobs or working out of a van.

Labeling each fastener spot cuts down on the guesswork that usually slows reassembly. Instead of digging through a pile of loose parts trying to remember where everything came from, techs can glance at the cube and know exactly what goes where.

The idea is simple but the payoff is real: fewer mistakes, faster turnaround, less frustration. For shops juggling multiple vehicles or equipment at once, that kind of organization can shave real time off each job.

It’s a small addition to a workflow, but one that speaks to a bigger push in repair work toward tools that keep things visual and straightforward. Sometimes the simplest fix is just staying organized from the start.

S&S Cycle Releases HPT542 Cams For M8 Models
S&S Cycle Releases HPT542 Cams For M8 Models

Bolt-in big power for Gen 2 M8 engines arrives with the S&S Cycle HPT542 cam. It delivers the idle sound M8 owners want and strong performance when you open the throttle. With a broad torque band and high-rpm horsepower, the HPT542 pulls from 2,000-6,200 rpm. Like all S&S cams, it’s designed, tested and manufactured in Viola, Wisconsin.

Maximum performance for Gen 2 oval port heads. The all-new HPT542 from S&S Cycle delivers a blend of broad torque, high-rpm horsepower, crisp throttle response and a lumpy idle.

The 542 cam is designed to be used with 2024-up Gen 2 models. If the 542 cam is installed in 2017-2023 models, a high-lift valvespring will be required.

Fanttik X9 Pro: A Compact Tire Inflator For Riders
Fanttik X9 Pro: A Compact Tire Inflator For Riders

The Fanttik X9 Pro is turning heads as a tire inflator built for riders who don’t want extra bulk in their gear. It weighs just under a pound and measures 4.9 by 2.9 by 1.8 inches once the hose comes off, small enough to toss in a cargo carrier or slide into most adventure jackets.

Using it feels familiar if you’ve handled other inflators before. But the X9 Pro adds a few smart touches that set it apart, and riders say it performs better than expected for something this small.

Setup is simple. Charge it using the included USB A to USB C cable through its USB C port, which makes topping off power easy whether you’re at home or plugged into a bike or external battery on the road. A full charge from empty can take up to three hours, though the middle stretch of charging moves along faster than the start or finish.

For riders who spend time in the field, that kind of portability paired with dependable performance makes a real difference when a tire needs air fast.
