Rottweiler’s Solera Intake Cuts KTM Filter Swaps To Minutes

Rottweiler Performance has rolled out the Solera Intake System for KTM 1050 to 1290 Adventure models, and it’s aimed at riders tired of losing half a day to filter changes.

The old process meant tearing into the bike for two to three hours just to swap an air filter. Solera cuts that down to about one minute, according to the company.

The kit installs in place of the stock setup and gives owners direct access to the filter without pulling apart half the bike first. For anyone who rides dirt or dusty routes often, that kind of turnaround changes how often maintenance actually happens.

Rottweiler Performance has built a name doing intake work for KTM adventure bikes, and this product folds into that lineup. It’s built for the 1050, 1090, 1190, 1290 range, covering a good chunk of the Adventure model spread.

The system is now listed on their site, shop.rottweilerperformance.com, under the Solera Intake System page for the 1050 to 1290 lineup. Riders looking to cut wrench time on filter swaps now have an option that doesn’t eat an entire afternoon.

My two cents…

Now it’s one minute. One. That’s a coffee break, not a mechanic’s shift. No more disassembling half your bike like it’s a Rubik’s Cube.
