HEX Innovate has rolled out a new gadget for KTM riders, the HEX ezCAN Ordos, built specifically for the KTM 1390 Super Adventure lineup. It’s the latest in the company’s CAN bus accessory manager line, aimed at giving riders control over aftermarket electronics like auxiliary lights, smart brake lights, air horns, SatNavs, and heated gear, all without messing with the bike’s factory warranty.
The unit taps into the motorcycle’s CAN bus network, reading signals straight from the handlebar controls and onboard computer. That means auxiliary lights can strobe when the horn goes off, or dim to daytime running mode during turn signals, helping other drivers notice the rider sooner.
The Ordos also handles power management with digital fuses across four high power channels, keeping the bike’s electrical system safe from overload. There’s no wire splicing required at all, so owners can install complicated setups without touching factory wiring or voiding their warranty.
It runs on HEX Innovate’s ezBUS tech, same as other models in the range, allowing easy hookup with any accessory carrying the Certified HEX ezBUS Ready label.
Pricing and release timing haven’t been detailed yet, though the company confirmed the Ordos is compatible with select KTM 1390 Super Adventure models.
My two cents…
HEX Innovate drops the ezCAN Ordos, a plug and play brain for KTM 1390 Super Adventure riders who want fancy lights, horns, heated gear and SatNav talking to each other. No wire snipping, no warranty drama. Think Knight Rider, minus Hasselhoff. Four fused channels keep things from frying.
