Himalayan 450 Essential Accessories

Himalayan 450 Essential Accessories

I needed a few essential accessories for my Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 that I keep in Thailand.
As it’s a relatively new and not very common bike in Thailand at the time of this article, it’s not so easy to find aftermarket parts, so I hunted down what I needed in the UK and Aliexpress.

In the UK Himalayan parts are easy to find and we have a few dedicated stores, the largest and best in my opinion called “Hitchcocks” (website). They have a huge range of OEM and aftermarket parts, great to deal with and prices are reasonable.

Below are the parts I ordered, brief description, photos, pricing and an unboxing and review video at the bottom. The video, gives you a much better insight into each individual accessory.

Accessories

The first three accessories below I purchased from Hitchcocks in the UK. Pricing is in £ pounds.

Himalayan 450 Accessories

Adjustable Brake & Clutch Levers

The OEM levers are pretty basic, they get the job done, but have no adjustability and don’t feel great, so upgrading was essential. The levers from Hitchcocks are excellent CNC quality and feel great. They are easy to fit and work very well.

Folding Gear Lever

The OEM gear lever is pretty basic and made of chocolate, so replacement is essential 🙂
This CNC version from Hitchcocks has a foldable tip, solid CNC, easy to fit and feels great.

Aux Power Splitter

If you are running any sort of external lights, heated grips etc. This pre-made splitter that plugs into the aux outlet under the tank makes life so much easier, so in my book essential.

Mesh Seat Cover

This is worth every penny (cent) and essential in Thailand. These style of mesh seat covers are easy to fit, hard wearing and do a great job of keeping your rear end from melting to the stock seat.

Side Stand Foot

For those of you that have the original Himalayan 450, you know exactly why this is essential 🙂
You cannot beat the price. It’s well made, solid, easy to fit and does exactly what it says on the tin.
