Perun Moto has put together a walkthrough showing the Kriega OS Base system with OS12 bags mounted on a KTM 890 Adventure R, using their Small Billet Rack and Tie down Brackets.
The video covers the full mounting process, how everything sits on the bike, and what the setup looks like once loaded up for a ride.
Compared to the Large Billet Rack option, the Small Billet Rack keeps things tighter and lighter on the bike while still giving the OS Base system solid upper mounting points. No wobble, no bulk, just a clean way to carry gear without a traditional rack getting in the way.
For riders who spend more time off road than on pavement, this kind of setup makes sense. Less weight up high, less width to catch on trees or rocks, and still enough room to pack for a multi day trip.
Full breakdown and product links are up on the Perun Moto blog and website for anyone looking to build the same setup on their own 790 or 890 Adventure.
My two cents…
Perun Moto slaps Kriega OS Base plus OS12 bags onto a KTM 890 Adventure R, using the Small Billet Rack and Tie down Brackets. Think of it as luggage’s answer to a Members Only jacket: less bulk, still functional.
