Cardo just rolled out its free Mesh Boost update, and it’s a solid one for riders who like to travel in packs. Second generation PACKTALK DMC users can now connect up to 31 riders in a single mesh group, a big jump from what was previously possible.
The update also brings Public Mesh, letting nearby riders join open conversations without needing to be paired beforehand. Handy for group rides where not everyone knows each other yet.
Remote Grouping is another addition, allowing riders to build and manage groups from a distance rather than fiddling with settings on the bike itself.
On top of that, Cardo has refreshed its Connect App, giving users a cleaner and more intuitive experience when managing devices and groups.
The update is free for existing PACKTALK DMC owners, so there’s no reason not to grab it. Cardo says the changes come from listening to feedback from riders who wanted bigger groups and simpler ways to connect on the road.
For anyone doing long distance group rides, this update makes staying in touch a lot easier.
My two cents…
Cardo drops a free Mesh Boost update, and finally, your biker gang can stop pretending walkie talkies from 1997 still work. App got a facelift too. Free upgrade, zero excuses, so grab it before Gary figures out mute exists.
