Machine Mart has knocked the price of its Clarke CHT859 300 piece tool kit down to £190.80, a saving of £37.18 off the usual £227.98. For home mechanics who dream of a fully stocked cabinet instead of a jumble of mismatched toolboxes, this one ticks the box.
The six drawer steel cabinet comes with a folding lid and carry handles, so it moves easily around the garage. Up top sits a full Metric and AF socket set. The smaller drawers hold an eight piece screwdriver set, a 10 piece precision screwdriver set and a 20 piece Allen key set.
Down in the three bottom drawers things get serious. There’s a complete drill bit set with handle covering Phillips, Hex and Torx, a 15 piece combination spanner set plus an adjustable spanner, and a general purpose drawer packed with a hammer, mole grips, saw, tape measure and a four piece plier set.
For under 200 quid, that’s 300 tools sorted into one cabinet rather than scattered across the shed.
My two cents…
Machine Mart chops the Clarke CHT859, 300 pieces, down to £190.80. Basically the toolbox equivalent of finally alphabetising your CD collection. Six steel drawers, folding lid, handles, sockets, screwdrivers, Allen keys, all present. Bottom drawers get serious: drill bits, spanners, hammer, mole grips. Under two hundred quid for organised chaos. Your shed called, it's jealous.
