Givi GRT721B: Rackless Soft Luggage For Adventure Bikes

Givi’s Canyon GRT721B is turning heads for riders who want adventure luggage without the bulk of steel pannier racks. The system offers 44 litres of waterproof, removable soft luggage that mounts straight onto the bike, cutting weight and cost compared to traditional setups.

After months on test, the verdict is positive. Fitment proved simple, with the mounting hardware bolting up without drama. The bags themselves stay put on rough tracks and shrug off rain without letting water in.

What stands out is the modular design. Riders can run one bag or two, add extra pouches, or expand capacity depending on the trip. That flexibility suits weekend rides just as well as longer expeditions, without forcing owners into a fixed setup they might not need.

Removal is quick too, so packing gear inside for the night or carrying it off the bike is no hassle.

For adventure riders wary of adding rack weight or dealing with fiddly fitment, the GRT721B looks like a genuine alternative. It’s soft luggage that behaves like it means business, minus the usual compromises.

My two cents…

Givi's GRT721B: 44 litres, no clunky steel racks, just soft bags that actually behave. Bolted on easy, no swearing at Allen keys (well, minus me). Survived rain and rough roads like a champ. Modular too, one bag, two, extra pouches, your call. Basically ADV luggage for people who hate commitment. Solid.
