SW MOTECH marks 20 years since launching its tank ring system with a new release. The company introduces the V LOC side carrier system, built for fast, secure luggage mounting.
V LOC uses a Fidlock magnetic guide and mechanical lock. Built in magnets pull the bag into place. The system clicks when secure. Riders mount the bag, hear the click, and ride. Removal takes one hand. Pull the release tab and lift.
The system fits select models. Current fitments include the Kawasaki Z900, Yamaha XSR900, and Triumph Bonneville.
Four bags launch with the system. The WP Side Bag comes in 11 liter for 290 dollars and 16 liter for 305 dollars. Both offer waterproof storage for daily use.
The Legend Gear Side Bag also comes in 11 liter for 235 dollars and 16 liter for 255 dollars. Each bag locks to the V LOC carrier for added security.
SW MOTECH focuses on speed and ease. One step to mount. One pull to release. The company aims to simplify daily riding and short trips with a secure, tool free setup.
My two cents…
SW MOTECH just turned 20 and instead of cake, it brought magnets. The new V LOC side carrier system is basically the company saying, “Remember fiddling with straps? Yeah, screw that.” Built in magnets guide the bag home, a mechanical lock snaps it tight, and you get a satisfying click. Mount it. Hear it. Ride. Removal is one handed. Pull tab, lift, gone. Knight Rider levels of simple. It fits bikes like the Kawasaki Z900, Yamaha XSR900, and Triumph Bonneville. Four bags launch, WP in 11 liter for 290 dollars and 16 liter for 305, plus Legend Gear versions at 235 and 255.Fast. Secure. No drama. About damn time.
