R and G has expanded its Aluminium Adventure Bar range as demand for adventure bikes grows. The updated collection now covers dozens of machines from 14 manufacturers, including Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, KTM, Triumph, Yamaha, CFMoto, and QJMotor.
The bars protect fuel tanks, fairings, and other key components in a drop or fall. They suit both road riding and off road travel. Each unit uses 3 millimeter thick corrosion resistant aluminium alloy with a 25 millimeter diameter tube. R and G shapes every bar to match the lines of each bike, which helps maintain proper fit and cornering clearance.
Engineers heat treat the aluminium to increase hardness and impact resistance. A powder coated finish adds weather protection while keeping weight low.
The range covers large capacity models such as the BMW 1250 GS and smaller entry level bikes like the KTM 390 Adventure R. It also supports newer brands that continue to gain buyers in the segment.
General manager Jack Taylor said adventure bikes continue to gain riders. He said owners want durable protection that fits the look of their machines. He added that the wider range allows R and G to support more models than before.
My two cents…
Adventure bikes are having a moment, and R and G is clearly reading the room. The company has bulked up its Aluminium Adventure Bar lineup, now covering dozens of bikes from 14 makers, from Aprilia and BMW to Ducati, KTM, Yamaha, CFMoto and QJMotor. Basically, if it has a beak and dreams of gravel, they have probably measured it.The bars shield tanks and fairings when gravity does its thing. Built from 3 millimeter corrosion resistant aluminium with 25 millimeter tubing, heat treated for toughness and powder coated to handle weather, they are shaped to fit cleanly and keep cornering clearance intact. From BMW 1250 GS giants to KTM 390 Adventure R starters, the range now stretches wider. General manager Jack Taylor says more riders are going adventure, and they want protection that looks right. Sensible. Nobody wants their bike dressed like it borrowed armour from RoboCop.
