Akrapovic Unveils Titanium Slip-On Exhausts For Ducati V2s

Akrapovič has launched new titanium Slip-On Line exhausts for Ducati’s Multistrada V2 range, delivering small but measurable gains in performance and weight savings. The system sheds 0.2 kg over stock, about 5.1 percent, and increases output by 0.9 bhp and 3.0 Nm at 3,000 rpm based on Akrapovič’s dyno data.

The exhaust uses a sandblasted titanium sleeve around a stainless inner structure. It features a carbon-fibre end cap and heatshield that protect against heat damage. Installation requires no ECU remap. It is EC/ECE approved and Euro 5+ compliant.

For the Panigale V2, Panigale V2 S, Streetfighter V2, and Streetfighter V2 S, Akrapovič offers a twin-can Slip-On Line in titanium inspired by its Grand Prix racing systems. This version cuts weight by 1.0 kg, or 30.7 percent, and gives an extra 1.8 bhp at 11,000 rpm and 0.8 Nm at 7,500 rpm.

Both exhausts are plug-and-play and compatible with standard Ducati components, including heatshields. The upgrades focus on improved sound quality and modest performance gains while staying within road-legal limits. More information is available on the Akrapovič official website.

My two cents…

Akrapovič just dropped new titanium Slip-On exhausts for Ducati’s Multistrada V2, and yes, they actually do more than make your neighbours hate you. We’re talking a whole 0.9 extra horses and 0.2 kilos shaved off. Not exactly “MotoGP” numbers, but hey, every gram counts when you’re showing off at the café.
