Monimoto 9 Launches Advanced GPS Tracker

Monimoto 9 Launches As Advanced GPS Tracker For Riders

Monimoto, a Lithuanian maker of anti-theft GPS trackers, has launched the Monimoto 9. The new model targets adventure, dual-sport, and dirt bike riders who face tougher conditions.

The company started in 2016 in Vilnius, founded by Rolandas Dranseika, Antanas Masevičius, and Andrius Bruno Rimkūnas. It began with a simple goal: make effective, easy-to-use motorcycle trackers. Monimoto now sells products worldwide for motorcycles, scooters, boats, and bicycles.

The Monimoto 9 improves on the previous Monimoto 7 with a smaller, lighter build at six ounces and just 1.5 by 3.5 inches. It uses GPS and LTE-M networks to track bikes in real time. The device is fully wireless with a rechargeable battery lasting up to 12 months.

It pairs with a key fob that keeps the tracker disarmed while nearby. When the fob moves out of range and the bike shifts, the device calls the owner within a minute and sends live location data through the app.

The Monimoto 9 carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It costs $179, with a $49 yearly cellular subscription after a two-month trial.

My two cents…

Apparently, Lithuanian tech wizards think your dirt bike deserves better bodyguards. Enter the Monimoto 9, a bite-sized GPS tracker for anyone who treats “off-road” like a personality type.
